Happy Tuesday, Spursland! Oh joy. It is Presidential debate day yet again. Don't expect anything that might allow you to learn anything about the candidates though. Aside from the fact that they are both terrified that anything at all might happen.

King Opens Up About Injury Woes - Sky Sports

Check out the picture that Sky used. Ledley is not impressed.

Bale Should Leave For Madrid Says Suker - BBC

If you thought that the days of unsolicited comments coming out of the Croatian footballing establishment calling for Spurs players to move to Madrid were over with Modric, boy do you have another thing coming.

The Space Jump Now With Unreleased Audio - SB Nation

Maradona was Great; Messi Is Better - SB Nation Soccer

I tend to agree. Maradona was amazing but his greatness on the field gets wrapped up in his outsized personality and people tend to think of him as bigger and more importantly better than he was. This is a guy dodged out on something like £30 million in taxes to Italy when he played there. This is a guy who once shot at reporters who pissed him off. He did all that while being the best player of his generation and winning a World Cup. Oh yeah, and he did a lot of coke. This stuff tends to draw a lot of attention. Meanwhile Messi is somewhat quietly just been the best player the world has ever seen. He isn't controversial, he doesn't attack reporters, when he is in the news it is almost always for scoring some insane goal and it is never because he got caught doing hard drugs. In media terms Messi is boring, but that doesn't change the fact that he is better.
