Tottenham Hotspur attacking midfielder Jack Munns has joined Aldershot Town on loan for one month. The Shots are currently second from the bottom of League Two and could definitely use an injection of talent. Through 12 games the Shots have scored only eight goals and the addition of Munns should help add to their attack.

Munns started 22 matchesfor Spurs' Under-18s in the Premier Academy League in 2011-12, scoring seven goals and all three matches in the FA Youth Cup, scoring once. He was also in target against PSV in the NextGen Series. This season, Munns has featured in 3 of Tottenham's matches in the U-21 Premier League.

Aldershot manager Dean Holdsworth had the following to say about Munns:

"I would like to thank the Player Share Fund for their help in signing Jack for the month. He is an attacking midfielder with an eye for goal who was recommended by Tim Sherwood. He has a great future in the game."

Munns will be 19 next month and it will be good to see him get some first team experience, if only for a month. It doesn't seem like he was playing terribly regularly for the U-21's so this seems like a good move for Munns' development.
