Well, another week, another game without seeing Emmanuel Adebayor on his re-debut for Tottenham Hotspur. Spurs' mercurial Togolese striker is apparently still battling the hamstring injury that has troubled him throughout the entire 2012-13 season and will not be able to play in tomorrow's match against Panathinaikos.
Joining him on the training table are Jake Livermore (groin) and Kyle Naughton (foot) who remain out with their recent injuries. Younes Kaboul (knee), Scott Parker (Achilles), and Benoit Assou-Ekotto (knee) remain out with their long-term injuries.
The injury situation leaves many of the players who played against Manchester United likely to feature in tomorrow's game in Greece. Jan Vertonghen looks likely to start again at left back, while Steven Caulker and Michael Dawson look most likely to start at centerback. Brad Friedel has not traveled with the team as well, leaving Hugo Lloris likely to start again in goal.
Provisional squad: Lloris, Cudicini, Smith, Vertonghen, Gallas, Dawson, Caulker, Walker, Dempsey, Huddlestone, Lennon, Bale, Dembele, Sigurdsson, Falque, Townsend, Sandro, Mason, Defoe.
