A couple of you mentioned this to us on Twitter and in the comments over the weekend. I chose to ignore it while we were in the general vicinity of a game. Now that we're coming off of a 0-0 draw in the FA Cup and we're a week away from the North London Derby, I'll humor everyone. Leandro Damiao is claiming (or someone is claiming that he's claiming) that Tottenham Hotspur have made a bid for his services. English-language outlets like Sky and Goal have picked up the report from a publication called Telefoot.
Here are "Leandro Damiao's quotes," in which he also talks about interest from Paris Saint-Germain.
"I am not aware of anything for an offer from Paris SG. I have had no contact with PSG or Leonardo [sporting director]. For now, I think about my club and the Copa Libertadores. In July, if a proposal comes, it will be discussed. All that I know is that Tottenham have made an offer."
So, there you go. We've supposedly made an offer. Whether this is a legit report or not, I have no idea. Whether or not the bid was big enough for Inter to talk to us, I have no idea. Rosterbate in the comments below.
