Tottenham Hotspur Team News: Previously Injured Stars Could Return Against Arsenal

I think we found Benny some 'alternative medicine' for his groin ailment.
I think we found Benny some 'alternative medicine' for his groin ailment.

The team news is in, and it sounds good. Tottenham Hotspur seem to expect that all of their questionable players are going to make returns to the team for the North London Derby against Arsenal. Rafael Van der Vaart, Emmanuel Adebayor, Luka Modric and Benoit Assou-Ekotto were all out for the FA Cup match against Stevenage, and it seems like 'Arry is confident that they could all be available.

"Luka went down with the flu and Adebayor had a knee injury, hopefully they will be okay. Benoit Assou-Ekotto had a little operation, but he's trained this week and is fine. Rafa has trained this week so hopefully he'll be fit as well. So we've not too many out."

Reading that, I'm confident about Modric, BAE and Rafa but not so much Manny. Nothing there from Harry other than "he had a knee injury". I'll admit, when we found out Assou-Ekotto had a groin operation -- however minor -- I didn't expect to see him in the derby. If he's training and it's the derby, he'll probably play.

Sandro, William Gallas and Tom Huddlestone are still out. Sandro re-aggravated his calf injury the last time he played, I presume.
