Harry Redknapp is apparently not a tax evader, or apparently not enough of an ill-intending, obvious tax evader to get in trouble. Redknapp and former Portsmouth FC owner Milan Mandaric have been cleared of all charges in their tax evasion case. Everything should get back to normal at Tottenham Hotspur shortly, which is really awesome, considering that the team has looked a bit shaky late in the games where Redknapp has not been in charge.

If you haven't been following along with this case, Mandaric gave Redknapp a couple of payments. He told 'Arry to open up a bank account in Monaco for one of them. The defense successfully argued that the money Mandaric gave to Redknapp as a friendly gesture and that the payment did not have anything to do with his job. Harry did not open up the account in Monaco with a view to evade tax, but for purposes of setting up investments.

Whether or not Harry Redknapp is a shady dude who tried to avoid paying his taxes, I don't know and I don't care. He's been cleared of the charges, and now we can finally move on with our lives.
