Tottenham Hotspur Team News: No Lennon, Ade Should Rest

LOOK AT HOW DEJECTED I AM
LOOK AT HOW DEJECTED I AM

Aaron Lennon is still out for Tottenham Hotspur, and will not feature against Bolton Wanderers in the FA Cup on the weekend. Emmanuel Adebayor is also doubtful with a hamstring problem. Because he's being called a doubt, I'm just going to assume that he doesn't have a tear and that he's just being rested because it's not the league and it's Bolton. Optimism!

Here's our man Harry.

"We're still waiting to see, we've got one or two knocks. Adebayor has a little bit of a hamstring problem so we'll wait and see how he is," the manager told his pre-match press conference on Friday. Aaron Lennon is still out with his hamstring injury, so there's one or two little knocks but we'll see how we are this morning."

I'm going to guess that Ledley King is given a rest too. With Michael Dawson out for the season, we can't risk having King miss league games, even if I have given him a bit of a slagging off in the recent past. He's one of our two best central defenders with Dawson out. Hopefully, Our Cousin Niko gets a recall and we can stop with this nonsense where Gareth Bale and Luka Modric play anywhere but where they're supposed to.
