Happy Friday, Spursland! This is the weekend, boys and girls. This is the weekend where we make a statement. Either we are going to walk the top three walk or we will prove that we are only capable of talking the talk. Spurs vs Chelsea. It doesn't get much bigger than this.

And now the "news"

Bostock Goes On Loan To Swindon- Sky Sports

I really, really hope that all these loans for Bostock are all a lot like the early years of a great band. You know, you are good, but for the first four or five years you're not playing Wembley of the Buddakan. Instead you're playing those tiny cramped venues with bad lighting before hitting it big with the big record deal and the 30 city tour with Kings Of Leon opening for you. Probably not, but you hope this kids becomes that successful

Arsenal Are Firm Favorites For 3rd Says Vermaelen- The Guardian

I tend to like when guys on my teams say things like this every now and then. That confidence is the mark of a champion, BUT there is a line where when guys on one team are saying such things so very often, as has been noted in the #hoddleofcoffee before, that one wonders if the people doing all the crowing are just douchebags.

Soccer is for Pu$$#@s"- Dana White-Fightlinker

Which is fine if that is your opinion (and it is shared by many here in the States), but the real quote that you should be pissed about is "It is the least talented sport in the world?" I bet it is, asshole.

If you were looking for people who believed that this was possible before this story was reported, you would have been very safe if you assumed that I was not one of them.
