On Sunday, Tottenham Hotspur play Chelsea in the FA Cup Semifinal at Wembley Stadium. They will be doing this without their two best central defenders. Michael Dawson has been declared out for the season for quite some time, but we learned on Friday morning that Younes Kaboul is now definitely out for the match this weekend.
Kaboul went off injured in Monday's loss to Norwich City, but his status wasn't entirely clear until today, when Harry Redknapp confirmed that he will miss out on the game with a knee injury. This means that two of Ledley King, William Gallas and Ryan Nelsen are going to start the semifinal. Given King's issues with playing consecutive games, the hilariously bad pitch at Wembley and King's poor form, it wouldn't be shocking to see Gallas and Nelsen out there.
Niko Kranjcar is also unavailable after picking up a knee injury in training. Scott Parker was rested against Norwich because of a slight hamstring problem, but he will return to the team on Sunday.
