Happy Spursday, Spursland! Let's hope that game against Norwich had more to do with us stupidly looking ahead than us not being very good anymore. I would be sad if we were not good anymore. If you live under a rock, Tottenham Hotspur play Chelsea today in the FA Cup semifinal at Wembley Stadium. The winner moves on to face Liverpool in the final in May. Here are the lineups.
Tottenham Hotspur Lineup (4-4-1-1): Cudicini; Assou-Ekotto, King, Gallas, Walker; Bale, Parker, Modric, Lennon; Van der Vaart; Adebayor
Chelsea Lineup (4-2-3-1): Cech; Cole, Terry, David Luiz, Bosingwa; Mikel, Ramires; Mata, Lampard, Kalou; Drogba
I wouldn't be stunned if Chelsea's lineup was actually a bit different than listed. Lampard could play a bit deeper to make it a 4-3-3, or he could be part of a double pivot with Ramires on the right wing, marking Gareth Bale. Keep an eye out for these things, the lineup might not be as I listed it. Tottenham's lineup is basically as expected and is very straight-forward.
Kickoff is at 1:00 p.m. ET, 6:00 p.m. local time. You can catch the game on FOX Soccer Channel in the USA, ITV 1 in the UK and Sportsnet World in Canada.
