Happy *yawn* Spursday *yawn* Spursland. It is the crack of dawn in the eastern United States, and still dark as hell in the western United States. I worked until 2 am last night so I'm not really thrilled about this. Tottenham Hotspur play Sunderland at the Stadium of Light today, and GOOD GOD I NEED MORE COFFEE.
Spurs have an unchanged injury list, so they have an unchanged lineup. Hopefully it's a little more 4-5-1/4-3-3 and a little less FRAAB. We have seen what happens when Gareth Bale just plays as a left winger. Sunderland are playing a 4-4-2/4-4-1-1 with Stephane Sessegnon doing some FRAAB of his own.
Tottenham Hotspur Lineup (4-3-3): Friedel; Assou-Ekotto, Gallas, Kaboul, Walker; Sandro, Parker, Modric; Bale, Adebayor, Van der Vaart
Sunderland Lineup (4-4-1-1): Mignolet; Colback, Kilgallon, Turner, Bardsley; McClean, Cattermole, Gardner, Larsson; Sessegnon; Bendtner
Kickoff is at 7:45 a.m. ET, 12:45 p.m. local time in Sunderland. You can catch the game on any of ESPN2, ESPN3 or ESPN Deportes in the USA, depending on your viewing device and language preferences. It's also on TSN2 in Canadia and Sky Sports 2 in the UK.
