Happy Spursday, Spursland. It's the final day of the Premier League season, meaning this is your last "official" match thread until the preseason. We'll have open threads for randomness and Euro 2012 all summer, but I want to thank everyone for spending a second season chatting with us every gameday.
In the race for fourth place, Tottenham control their own destiny. A win and they finish no worse than fourth. A draw gets them fourth if Newcastle fail to win. Tottenham claim third if they win while Arsenal fail to win. A draw and an Arsenal loss by multiple goals also puts Spurs in third place.
Danny Rose and Benoit Assou-Ekotto are out, so Gareth Bale moves to left back today. Luka Modric is playing more advanced in a 4-2-3-1, and the line of three will probably move in and out and all over the place. Fulham are without Clint Dempsey. Here are the lineups.
Tottenham Hotspur (4-2-3-1): Friedel; Bale, Gallas, Kaboul, Walker; Sandro, Livermore; Modric, Van der Vaart, Lennon; Adebayor
Fulham lineup (4-2-3-1): Schwarzer; Riise, Hangeland, Hughes, Kelly; Diarra, Murphy; Duff, Dembele, Frei; Pogrebnyak
Kickoff is at 10:00 a.m. ET, along with every other game. A reminder: A lot of people are going to be very happy and very mad at points today. Let's PLEASE keep the vitriol down. No calling other posters stupid, no abusing other players, no wishing death or injury on people, etc. You know the drill. Everyone here is super well-behaved 99 percent of the time, but I felt like we had the potential for high-level hating today. Don't do it y'all.
COYS.
