Harry Redknapp missed out on the England job, but there will be some Tottenham Hotspur players headed to Euro 2012 anyway. Roy Hodgson has named his 23-man England squad, and two Tottenham players are heading to Poland and Ukraine with the Three Lions.

Midfielder Scott Parker has made the squad, despite an injury doubt over his Achilles tendon. If he is 100 percent healthy, he's likely to be competing with Gareth Barry for one place in the starting XI. It's hard to concoct a reasonable England lineup that has either both of them or neither of them.

The other Tottenham player named to the team is Jermain Defoe, who will likely play the same super sub goal-poaching role for England that he plays for Tottenham. Expect either Danny Welbeck or Andy Carroll to start with Steven Gerrard behind one of them in Wayne Rooney's absence.

Aaron Lennon was a healthy omission, beaten out by Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Stewart Downing. Kyle Walker missed out on a place due to injury, but incredibly, Hodgson didn't call in Micah Richards either. Glen Johnson is the team's only true right back.
