Leandro Damiao's Agent Meets With AC Milan

It's not like I ever thought Leandro Damiao was going to come to Tottenham Hotspur, but I'll be holding out hope until he actually signs with a club in Europe that's considerably bigger than Tottenham. One of those teams, even though they're shipping off their best players and we beat them last time we played, is A.C. Milan. Leandro Damiao's agent confirmed that he's held talks with the club, who are in need of a striker after they shipped off Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Here's the problem with Damiao, especially as far as Milan are concerned: Internacional really like moving the goalposts, both in terms of a potential fee and when their players will become available for transfer. We haven't heard an official announcement regarding Oscar and Chelsea, but it appears that Roman Abramovich decided to play their games and pay £25m for a £15m player. Silvio Berlusconi, who is fairly cheap and just sold his two best players, won't take kindly to Internacional demanding the exact same fee (or more) for Damiao.

Honestly, I don't expect Damiao to go anywhere until he scores 50 goals in a season and City inevitably offer infinity billion pounds plus a palace in Qatar for his services.
