Well, everyone, I have bad news (unless you don't like Luka Modric, then it's not bad news). It seems that Tottenham Hotspur's wantaway midfielder has agree to personal terms with Spanish giants Real Madrid. The Mirror is reporting that Luka's transfer could be completed as soon as next week.
The Mirror quotes "a source" as saying that the only problem now is Tottenham's position. This might be the most obvious statement in the history of obvious statements. The transfer fee is rumored to be in the neighborhood of £28 million, which seems pretty far below Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy's valuation of the Croatian playmaker.
So, basically all the Mirror is saying is that they have "a source" who says Luka is set to move ro Real Madrid, but the problem is that Spurs still have to agree on the transfer fee. Wow, what a great scoop. Someone call me when something legitimate happens.
