The impossible might be happening, folks. Another team, a real football team that plays in a real league with real players and tries to win real matches, might take Jermaine Jenas!
Sky Sources: Sunderland are in talks with Tottenham about the permanent signing of Jermaine Jenas
— Sky Sports News (@SkySportsNews) August 31, 2012#skydeadlineday
This is probably fake because the idea that anyone would take Jenas seems far fetched, but let's be optimistic. This might be happen. Oh happy day!
There is no word yet on how much Tottenham are paying Sunderland to take Jenas. The rumored number is £20 million, but that is probably missing a zero.
But seriously, if Daniel Levy manages any substantial amount of money form this sale then he is a golden god and there is nothing else to it. The world will build statues to the man and your great grandchildren's grandchildren will hear stories about Levy the Miracle Man.
