Tottenham's moves so far have centered around midfield (Joao Moutinho) and goalkeeper (Hugo Lloris). But apparently Tottenham did not rest in their pursuit to boost their attack, as the club put in a bid for Olympic Marseille's Loic Remy. However, OM apparently rejected the bid.

Little has been said if Tottenham would renew their bids to try to acquire Remy through the rest of the day. However, after bids for Remy and Willian were rejected it seems all has gone quiet in Spurs' pursuit of a frontline attacker.
Emmanuel Adebayor may end up being the sole boost to the Tottenham strike force. After Moutinho's arrival though, we may see Moussa Dembele utilized in a wider attacking role to boost the attack.
