Multiple sources on Twitter are reporting that Tottenham Hotspur transfer target Hugo Lloris has passed his medical. A deal for Spurs to sign the Olympic Lyon and French international goalkeeper is now moving ever closer to completion. The transfer is for a rumored €12 million with an additional €5 million in add-ons.
Lloris has been at the Spurs training ground in Chigwell all day working on personal terms and it now appears that this deal could finally be done. Hopefully the next time we talk about Lloris it will be to call the deal done. If only because we won't have to hear from Jean-Michel Aulas anymore.
If the deal is finalized today it would be interesting to see if Lloris will play in Tottenham's match tomorrow against Norwich City. Brad Friedel is Tottenham's current number one goalkeeper, but it seems almost a sure thing that Lloris would unseat the American if he joins Spurs.
