Happy Friday, Spursland! Today, we Americans, and according to friends who have traveled overseas and watched British news ,anyone in England who also watches the news, are now free from the American political conventions. It's over. No longer will we have to use black belt level double talk to side step the inevitable water cooler political conversations that only result in bad things every time we go to the break room at work. It is a return to normalcy; it is a return to not having someone question you views on federal student loans in a tone that suggests that you just murdered their child. Finally we can all return to normalcy and just talk about fantasy football and/or what the hell "One Direction" is.

Guys, I hate to break to those on either side of this, but there is much, much more that unites us than divides us. Peace in the Middle East, bros and sis'.

Is there a cooler nickname for a team than Reggae Boyz? Me thinks not. Reggae Boyz just sounds as cool as the "All Whites" feels racist. It feels racist, but it isn't actually racist when you add context.
