From now until the January transfer window closes, Tom Huddlestone will be linked to moves away from White Hart Lane. Sandro's injury has caused those rumors to slow down, but they'll pick back up as rumors of a new midfield signing pick back up (or if Lewis Holtby's move is completed). Fulham and Queens Park Rangers are rumored to be interested, and both would probably be good fits for him.
At this point, Huddlestone is a marginalized player in Tottenham's team, probably through no fault of his own. He doesn't appear to have regained full match fitness since recovering from his long injury layoff, and his passes haven't looked nearly as sharp as they did pre-injury when he has been given extended minutes.
There's a chance that Huddlestone just needs more game time to regain top form, and that he will eventually be the player he was two years ago. If he goes to Fulham, he's going to get that time, and we'll find out sooner rather than later whether or not he's still a top-notch player with the skills to play at the highest level.
In light of Sandro's injury, Martin Jol's admission that he's interested in Huddlestone and Big Tom's 10-minute cameo against Manchester United, it's poll time. What do you think Huddlestone's future is like? What do you think we should do with him?
