Jermain Defoe isn't injured

Last night, there was a rumor going around the Twittersphere that Jermain Defoe had picked up an injury. A large volume of Spurs supporters started freaking out. Some said that they were happy, because it meant Daniel Levy would be forced to spend on a striker. Some declared that our season was over and that Arsenal would surely beat us to fourth place.

Because I have no life, I did some digging last night and decided to see where the Twitter rumors originated. Sure enough, the first tweets about the injury referenced a message board ITK. According to Ali Z on Spurs Community, "Defoe deffo has an injury".

Hey, guess what? Jermain Defoe is just fine. Tottenham Hotspur shared a photo gallery from today's training session on their Facebook page today, and that gallery featured Jermain Defoe. If you click on that link, you will see Jermain Defoe kicking a ball.

'ITK' and the ITK community are really, really stupid. They are one of the worst things about the internet. Please stop feeding these trolls by parroting their garbage, and start pointing out when they're terribly, horribly wrong.
