Yago Falque heads to Spain for the rest of the season

Spurs' young attacking midfielder is off to promotion hopefuls Almeria in Spain's second division

Spurs attacking midfield starlet Yago Falque has impressed in his limited performances with the first team this season, and is now heading abroad for a shot at more playing time.

Almeria ended their four year stay in La Liga in 2010-2011, but in their second season in the Segunda Division they find themselves in second place and chasing promotion back to the top flight.

If Falque can get some playing time while on loan, this could be great experience for the youngster and hopefully help him forge a path into the Spurs first team.

Of course this naturally fuels speculation that Lewis Holtby's arrival must be imminent, but the two events are probably completely unrelated. A loan for Falque needed to happen for his development regardless.

Good luck, Yago!
