Mighty Coventry City are unbeaten in their last 10 matches. Well, they were until their loss last weekend, which was an understandable defeat because it was to unbeatable Shrewsbury.
In all honesty, I do not know a thing about Coventry. They are 11th in League One after being relegated last season and really did go 10 unbeaten before losing to Shrewsbury, which are all things you can find on Wikipedia. Their stadium looks gorgeous, not that it matters. The only reason we're discussing the Sky Blues is because Tottenham play them in the FA Cup, but that match is at White Hart Lane so their pretty stadium doesn't do much good.
Hmmm, I'm kind of out of things to say about Coventry.
Good news, Spurs fans! Benoit Assou-Ekotto looks set to return to the starting lineup, giving an otherwise boring match a bit of disco fun. Scott Parker is also a good bet to start for the first time this season in a match that should see pretty substantial squad rotation after a tough -- and successful -- run of matches.
Here are some predictions for you:
- Jermain Defoe will score all of the goals times infinity, as is his wont in the FA Cup.
- Benny will go with the bun for a classy yet carefree look.
- Gylfi Sigurdsson will put in another good performance.
- Mmmmmm Pie.
