Happy Spursday, Spursland! Today, Tottenham Hotspur look to continue their three-match unbeaten run, as they take on Newcastle United. The Magpies, who are currently 11th in the table and are coming off a good win against Chelsea last weekend, will be looking for their second straight victory and hoping that Tottenham's lack of goalscoring punch continues. For Spurs, a win would move them level on points with Liverpool, though significantly behind on goal differential.
Following a difficult midweek match in which he made numerous changes, Tottenham Hotspur manager Andre Villas-Boas has again heavily rotated his side. Here's how Tottenham will line up.
Our team today: Friedel; Walker, Vertonghen, Dawson, Chiriches; Paulinho, Dembele, Eriksen, Sigurdsson, Townsend, Soldado #THFC

Subs: Gomes, Kaboul, Lennon, Lamela, Holtby, Defoe, Sandro #THFC

Obviously the big change for Spurs is that Hugo Lloris is not in the squad. Without him, this squad plays much differently and while Brad Friedel is a competent back-up, some might rather have seen Gomes in goal. The rest of the lineup features no real surprises, save for Christian Eriksen, who starts his second consecutive match. Erik Lamela, who played excellent in midweek, finds himself dropped in favor of Gylfi Sigurdsson.
Newcastle manager Alan Pardew will be looking for a similar result to last weekend and as a result sends out the exact same 4-4-2 as last week.
#NUFC v Spurs (4-4-2): Krul; Debuchy, Williamson, Yanga-Mbiwa, Santon; Sissoko, Tiote (c), Cabaye, Gouffran; Shola Ameobi, Remy #thfc #bpl

Fabricio Coloccini is fit enough to make the bench and for the second straight weekend, both Papis Cisse and Hatem Ben Arfa find themselves not in the starting XI.
The match kicks off at 12:00 local time (7:00 AM ET) and can be seen live on NBC Sports Network in the US, BBC 1 and Sky Sports 1 in the UK, TSN in Canada, and Fox Sports 1 in Australia. As always, remember to abide by the community rules. Please don't link to illegal streams.
