Tottenham Hotspur will go into this weekend's clash with Manchester City with a mostly clean bill of health, according to Spurs manager Andre Villas-Boas. As expected, Christian Eriksen is out with a sprained ankle and Danny Rose is yet to return to full fitness, but it looks like everyone else in the team should be available.
Here's what AVB had to say to the club site.
"We've managed to get Nacer back with Etienne, Zeki and Vlad, that's good news for us. We'll have to see how Christian and Danny progress in the next few weeks."
There's no word yet on whether Eriksen has a high or low ankle sprain. He could be back in two weeks or out for over a month. Rose's injury remains a complete mystery and I'm getting close to just assuming he needs Lisfranc surgery.
Vincent Company, David Silva and Stevan Jovetic are all out for City, per the Daily Mail. They also say that Fernandinho and Matija Nastasic are healthy.
