Not much happened in the first half, and the match was rendered utterly irrelevant by Anzhi Makhachkala drawing 1-1 with Sherriff, which ensured that Spurs would finish atop Group K. That, of course, was impetus for them to spring to life -- Gylfi Sigurdsson had a goal disallowed before Vlad Chiriches opened the scoring from a free kick, and Mousa Dembele doubled the lead and hit the post as well. And that would be enough for a 2-0 win. Yay!
