Happy Spursday, Spursland! Today, Tottenham Hotspur take on Anzhi Makhachkala in the Europa League. As you probably know, Spurs have already won their group and don't need a result tonight, but Andre Villas-Boas has still fielded a reasonably strong side. Here's the starting XI.
Team v Anji - Friedel; Naughton, Capoue, Fryers, Rose; Dembele, Holtby; Lamela, Sigurdsson, Townsend; Soldado. #THFC

I'm definitely happy to see the return of Danny Rose to the team, and it's certainly nice to see Zeki Fryers get some minutes. I've also been happier with Gylfi Sigurdsson, Erik Lamela and Roberto Soldado than guys they're trying to win starting places from and wouldn't mind seeing them make some progress towards winning those spots.
The bench looks good too.
Our subs tonight - Archer, Dawson, Fredericks, Chadli, Dombaxe, Eriksen, Coulthirst. #THFC

That's Christian Eriksen you see. Yay! He should get a sub appearance to try to get some fitness back. I'd like to see some of Laste Dombaxe and Shaq Coulthirst as well.
