Happy Spursday, Spursland! Today is the first day of the rest of our fandom. At the end of this day there will either be people frantically hammering wood together trying to build a wagon for a band to gather on or people will be writing off this season as lost. There will be nobody who will be in between that and please don't claim you are the reasonable one. WE KNOW YOU ARE LYING AND SO DO YOU.
And now the "news"
I feel a "win one for the Gipper" speech coming on.
Well of course he would think that -- he sucks. It can't make sense that good players could be good after three months of working together is a thought that people who have proven to not be all that great probably would have, but you would think they would have gelled at least a little bit in that time, right?
Thank god. I may be alone, but soccer dummy over here has been wondering why he hasn't been given a shot. You see, my thought was "hmmm, we get some crosses in the box, but the strikers we use are kind of short. Maybe a big guy in there would help?" He's been really good in the past so let's see what happens.
A textbook example of what I would look like in goal.
Sounds like DC overpaid and Eddie Johnson and Seattle made a sound(ers) business move. So the usual happenings in MLS.
If you aren't reading this, series you are dumb. There, it's out there. The truth lives.
