Tuesday football open thread

Come for the football, stay for the shenanigans.

Shaun Botterill

Sup, Spursland? It's Tuesday, meaning there's Champions League football on. There are two matches in that competition, as well as all kinds of action in the League Championship, SPL and Copa Libertadores, but I assume this crowd is focused on one game.

That's right, it's Arsenal-Bayern Munich. I think that Bayern are a much better team than Arsenal (and United and City, for that matter), but I've got a feeling Arsenal will get a decent result here to make the second leg interesting. They'll get absolutely blitzed in the second leg, but still. That game is on ITV1 in the UK, FOX Soccer in the US and Sportsnet regional networks in Canada. Porto-Malaga is on FSN/Sky Sports 2/Sportsnet World.

This is your open thread, so chat away.
