Happy international football day, CFC. Let's all curl up in little balls together, pray that our players don't get injured while on international duty, and cry. There are a couple of games involving Tottenham Hotspur players that I think are probably attracting equal amounts of interest from readers of this site. England takes on Brazil at 7:30 p.m. local, 2:30 p.m. ET, while the United States take on Honduras at 4 p.m. ET, which is 9 p.m. in the UK.
There are plenty of other good games on as well. As I'm writing, Ghana are taking on Burkina Faso in the semifinal of the Africa Cup of Nations, while Uruguay and Spain are facing off in an entertaining friendly. Netherlands-Italy and France-Germany are just as high profile and awesome as the England-Brazil game.
And then there's the one you should be watching, because I say so: Sweden vs. Argentina. If you don't want to watch Zlatan and Messi face off against each other on the same pitch, you stink.
This is your open thread for all international games, so chat away.
