Happy Spursday, Spursland. The excitedment of a return to club football has been dampened considerably by the news that not only is Hugo Lloris not starting today for Spurs, but he isn't even fit enough to make the bench. As a result, Jordan Archer has been recalled from loan at Wycombe Wanderers and will serve as Brad Friedel's back up today.

The lineup for Spurs is pretty much what you'd expect. Aaron Lennon and Emmanuel Adebayor return to the squad and Kyle Naughton is preferred to Benoit Assou-Ekotto at left back.

The bench has both Tom Huddlestone and Jake Livermore on it, which some are taking to mean that Tom Carrol is out injured today.
