A little lightness to break up the disappointment of today- Spurs' U21 side woke up today as champions of their Elite Group, as Manchester United and Liverpool's youth teams both crashed out of the running with respective defeats.
Congratulations to our Under-21s, crowned Barclays U21 Elite Group champions after United and Liverpool both lost tonight. #COYS #THFC

The U21 calendar hasn't quite run to an end yet, as I believe the side will still have to take part in the Group's playoffs and final. Whatever the outcome of those ties, however, I think we can come together in celebration of what must be the best season for Spurs' Academy in a decade. Breakout performers from this year, such as Alex Pritchard, Cristian Ceballos, and Nabil Bentaleb will now be almost dead certs to feature in some capacity for Spurs in the future- but even older hands like Dean Parrett and Jon Obika should be proud of the steps they have made through their group performances this year too.
Congrats again to the kids!
