It all comes down to this. Spurs are one point behind Arsenal entering Showdown Sunday. The scenario is simple--Spurs need to earn a win and hope Arsenal drops points. If that happens, Spurs earn fourth place and a trip to the Champions League. If Spurs fail to surpass Arsenal, then another trip to the Europa League looms.
Spurs host Sunderland in their final match. Sunderland narrowly avoided relegation, sitting 17th in the table. New Manager Paolo di Canio has touted his performance in saving Sunderland, but the Black Cats have struggled of late, earning just two points in their last three games. Danny Graham is a main threat in attack, while Simon Mignolet will try to marshall as goalkeeper.
Arsenal travels to Newcastle in their decider. Arsenal have been in torrid form since losing the second North London Derby. They face a Newcastle side that has been incredibly up and down this season. After last season's fifth-place finish the side has struggled, currently sitting in fourteenth place on the table. However, a surprise win could see Newcastle rise to the top half of the table.
