The season is over, which means we have to pay attention to internationals now. I'll be throwing up an open thread for any game that is on television or *cough cough* widely available that involves Tottenham Hotspur players. This England-Ireland game isn't exactly heavy on Spurs players -- especially due to Kyle Walker's injury -- but they're here. so let's talk about them!
Here are the lineups.
England: Hart; Johnson, Cahill, Jagielka, Cole; Carrick, Lampard; Walcott, Rooney, Oxlade-Chamberlain; Sturridge.

RoI: Forde; Coleman, O’Shea, St Ledger, Kelly; Walters, McCarthy, Whelan, McGeady; Keane, Long.

Fun stat! This is the first game Wayne Rooney has started since April 28. I think the Carrick-Lampard pivot might be the least mobile one ever. I like James McCarthy and Glenn Whelan, but I wish that Darron Gibson was in this team.
If my name doesn't make it obvious, I'm a casual Ireland fan, so dealwithit.gif. Kickoff is at 8 pm local, 3 pm ET from Wembley Stadium. You can find the game on ITV in the UK, FOX Soccer in the US or Sportsnet World in Canada.
