This is the big one. Just three games remain for Tottenham Hotspur, and none bigger than today's match against Chelsea. Getting maximum points is key for Spurs, as the club sits three points behind The Blues and two behind Arsenal (with a game in hand). A loss may doom Spurs from a top-4 finish, while a win could launch Spurs's hopes of finishing third--and getting an elusive guaranteed Champions League Group Stage spot.
The trip to Stamford Bridge will certainly be daunting. Chelsea has won four games in a row in all competitions, finding a rich vein of form. The team has arguably been led by David Luiz, as the centerback has strengthened the defense and provided some stunning goals in attack. Frank Lampard remains the midfield marshall, moving to a deeper playmaker role as Mata, Oscar, and Eden Hazard (who seems to be winning a race to match fitness) have taken on a the main midfield attack. The strikeforce remains mercurial, as Demba Ba and Fernando Torres have been kept off the scoresheet in spurts this season.
As for the Prediction League, Mechanick stays on top of the table as the whole crew correctly predicted wins against Southampton. The rules remain the same in the Prediction League--one point for a correct prediction, a bonus point for getting the score correct. Here are the current standings:

Petrilli | 26 |
