Qualification for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil continues today all across the world. While there are 29 matches happening in the various FIFA divisions today and this evening, only a few will feature Tottenham Hotspur players. Lineups haven't been announced yet, but we can probably expect the following players to feature at some point.
Belgium v. Serbia (2:40 p.m. EDT, watchespn.com)
Jan Vertonghen will most likely start in the back line for Belgium, with Mousa Dembele in midfield in what should be a pretty spectacular matchup against a solid Serbian team. Also, this may be a good chance to see Spurs target Christian Benteke in action, if he gets the nod alongside or over Romelu Lukaku.
Iceland v. Slovenia (3:00 p.m. EDT, watchespn.com)
Gylfi Sigurdsson is one of Iceland's best players at present, so expect him to feature prominently in midfield.
Jamaica v. USA (9:30 p.m. EDT, beIN Sport)
Clint Dempsey will likely captain the American side again from an advanced midfield position.
Feel free to use this thread to discuss the games as they happen.
