With the deal having been all but wrapped up for around a week now, Tottenham Hotspur have finally unveiled Etienne Capoue this morning as a Tottenham Hotspur player.

Capoue slots into the side directly to fill the vacancy of high-energy runner option vacated by the outgoing Jake Livermore and Scott Parker. He will probably be rotated slowly into this team, sharing time with Mousa Dembele, Sandro and Paulinho next to a creative player in various combinations of a midfield 4-3-3. In terms of what Spurs get from this deal, Capoue's combined strengths of technical ability and exceedingly high work rate will make him a hugely valuable addition to a side which is looking to finally go the distance of a whole season in chasing Champions League glory.
Welcome to the club, Etienne!
