Hey look, it's a stage!
Spanish media reporting from the Bernabeu that Real Madrid are erecting a stage for Gareth Bale's unveiling: pic.twitter.com/UIuUBV9ARR— ESPN.co.uk (@ESPNUK) August 23, 2013
Real Madrid have erected a stage at the Santiago Bernabeu, presumably to unveil Gareth Bale. Either that or Cristiano Ronaldo demanded he be presented on one before every match.
This isn't anything new for Madrid. They never do small unveilings. It's never a press conference or a quick word with the media and off to training. Harry Redknapp doesn't announce transfers from his car window outside the training ground. Real Madrid throw parties and, I for one, would like to be invited to one of their champagne waterfall, angel singing, Lamborgini party favor blowouts.
Real Madrid has built Bale his throne. Now he just has to take it.
