AS Moncao vs. Tottenham Hotspur: Lineups and Live Match Thread

Tottenham Hotspur Travel to Monaco to take on the nouveau-riche Ligue 1 club in what is the penultimate friendly for Tottenham.

Robert Cianflone

Happy Spursday, Spursland! Today started off with the sale of Clint Dempsey to MLS and wraps up with an awesome friendly against AS Monaco. Tottenham Hotspur are without Gareth Bale because he's injured. He said something about a strained contract and having to go to Madrid to see a doctor. However, there is some good news for Spurs as new signing Nacer Chadli will make his debut for the club tonight. Here are the lineups:

That defense looks horrible for Spurs. Fryers and Livermore starting against a team that's going to have Radamel Falcao starting up top seems like a horrible idea. This is not a fun squad to look at for Spurs. At least Tom Carroll got to go to Monaco. Monaco on the other hand, have put out a very strong team. This could be good or bad. Maybe Tottenham's defense can cope with the strength of Monaco's attack, then again, maybe we'll get blown out of the water.

The match kicksoff at 6:30 PM local time (12:30 ET). If you have SpursTV you can watch it that way, or if you have beIn Sport you can watch it there. For our readers in the UK, you can catch the match on ITV 4.
