Ensconced in his office with nothing but piles of cocaine, Uncle Joe's Amex card, Franco Baldini's phone number, and a YOLO trucker hat, Chairman Daniel Levy has done it again. Tottenham Hotspur announced today that they have secured the transfer of Ajax midfielder Christian Eriksen.

Eriksen is a rising star on the international scene, having been capped 37 times for Denmark and making 112 appearances for Ajax by age 21. While his game has not developed quite as quickly as many anticipated prior to Euro 2012, he is still a player of "immense dimension" as AVB would say. He is a prodigious attacking talent and could provide the link we have been missing between our midfield and Roberto Soldado.
However, while he may be a potential world class player, his hair is definitely not up to the standard of Tottenham Hotspur HC. Hopefully, our resident dreamboat and his former teammate, Jan Vertonghen, will get him up to scratch.
In any case, welcome to Tottenham, Christian. Hope you survive the experience.
