Croatian teenage starlet apparently interests Chelsea, Liverpool and Spurs

18-year-old Tonci Mujan's agent is getting to work drumming up interest in him very early.

Were you heartbroken about losing Tin Jedvaj and Alen Halilović this summer? Well we've got a new Croatian teenage hearthrob for you to lust after. According to Sky Sports, Tottenham Hotspur are one of the teams interested in Hajduk Split youngster Tonci Mujan.

Mujan, just 18, made his debut as a 17-year-old last May. He's established himself as a regular for Hajduk this season and has attracted previous interest from Chelsea and Liverpool, along with all of Serie A. He doesn't have any league goals, Croatia Under-21 appearances or YouTube highlight tapes, so it's tough to learn too much about him.

However, what we do know is that his coach Igor Tudor isn't ready to let him go.

"I must admit a number of clubs are interested in Tonci. Some years ago he got a call to come to Liverpool, but he stayed. Now there are more clubs from England who want him, and also from Italy. But for now he wants to stay at Hajduk and become an even better player. But then again we have to see what kind of plans his club has for him."

For a player with less than two dozen professional games under his belt, this is probably for the best. At the same time, Tudor, Mujan, his family and his agent haven't mentioned Tottenham by name, so it's possible that Sky just threw a random biggish club's name into this story to generate some more hits.

If you find any interesting stories about Mujan or highlight tapes that feature him, let us know. I've never seen him play and have no way of knowing if he truly is a top prospect.
