All of Sandro, Jan Vertonghen, Younes Kaboul and Paulinho are in contention to play in Wednesday's game against Manchester City, but Tim Sherwood isn't confirming anything yet.
Tim on team news: "The four lads are back in training (Jan, Paulinho, Sandro, Younes), but we have to make sure they are ready."

With those four back, Spurs are looking pretty healthy, but they're still missing a couple of wide players. The Express had some more quotes from Sherwood, specifically on the guys who will be missing out for sure. He hinted that Kaboul and Vertonghen are closer to first team action than Sandro and Paulinho. Given Kaboul's recent issues, that's hard to believe, but okay!
"The only boys that haven't been training with the first-team are Townsend and Lamela. I'm very cautious about rushing anyone back too soon. It is a huge game and there is a temptation to throw anyone into fray. We have done well over this difficult period despite the injuries that have been picked up. Jan and Younes are closing in on a return to first-team action. Paulinho and Sandro will come into my thinking soon too."
Meanwhile, Alvaro Negredo has recovered from an injury and will play against Spurs. Samir Nasri is back in training, but is highly unlikely to feature for City. David Silva is close to a return, while Javi Garcia and James Milner will probably be out for another week or so.
