Tottenham Hotspur vs. Manchester City: Lineups and match thread

Come chat with Cartilage Free Captain as Tottenham Hotspur host Manchester City.

Clive Rose

Happy Spursday, Spursland! Today, Tottenham Hotspur take on Manchester City in a rare mid-week Premier League game. Spurs are under some pressure in the race for fourth place after Liverpool and Manchester United posted wins on Tuesday, and obviously we'd like to get some revenge for that drubbing at the Emirates.

Here are the lineups.

I am pleasantly surprised to see Siggy in the starting lineup, as well as both Capoue and Holtby on the bench. I don't love that Jan Vertonghen didn't make the bench after Tim Sherwood said he was close to a return, but I'm sure he'll be back soon. I'm also less than thrilled that David Silva is fit to start.

Kickoff is at 7:45 p.m. local time, 2:45 p.m. ET from White Hart Lane. You can catch the game on BBC One in the UK, NBC Sports Network in the US and Sportsnet World in Canada.
