In his weekly press-conference Southampton manager Mauricio Pochettino seems to have confirmed that Fulham have signed Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Lewis Holtby. Pochettino doesn't appear to have given any further explanation and I can't find any reference to what question he was asked, though I imagine it was in reference to the two teams' match this weekend. Sam Cunningham, who writes for the Daily Mail was at the press conference.

To everyone asking me why would Pochettino say that - I have no idea. He just said it. Perhaps he was in for him too...

I have no idea if this is a thing or not or if the signing is on loan or permanent, but I would imagine that Pochettino would know that sort of thing seeing as how he manages in the league and is playing Fulham this weekend. So, there you go. Holtby has, allegedly, signed for Fulham.
