Our month-long nightmare is finally over. Tottenham Hotspur announced this morning that Lewis Holtby will head to Fulham on loan for the remainder of the season.

As Michael pointed out earlier, Holtby has already been training with the Cottagers for a while. He should slot into their midfield nicely, along with fellow new arrival William Kvist. We're so sorry, Scott Parker and Steve Sidwell. You've had a nice run, but it's time for some big boys to step in.
Since this has already been confirmed amidst rumors of Dimitar Berbatov going to random corners of the globe, it seems safe to say that the moves were entirely independent of each other. Even if Berbatov isn't coming the other way, Spurs would like Holtby to go on loan to a Premier League team, and he probably likes that he doesn't have to move.
Hopefully, Holtby comes back a much better player, ready to compete for first team football at Spurs
