Ryan Fredericks, a bit of a forgotten man since the departure of Harry Redknapp, appears to have gotten back on track to potentially securing a first team place at Tottenham Hotspur one day. He turned some Europa League cameo action into a loan spell with Millwall, and apparently has done enough to earn a new contract. He's also extended his loan with Millwall until the end of the season.
Very happy to have signed a new contract at @SpursOfficial and also to have extended my loan at @MillwallFC till the end of the season

Fredericks spent most of his youth career as a winger, but ala Danny Rose, he's made the conversion to fullback in search of more senior action. It's been a promising move for him, and he looks to have a decent future in professional football, even if he might not quite make it for Spurs. He's started Millwall's last two games at right back and was impressive enough that they've decided to keep him around.
