After an injury layoff of approximately one million billion years through the festive period (I've not checked PhysioRoom.com but I'm fairly sure that's about right), the SpursOfficial Twitter feed today posted a picture of Sandro back in full training with the rest of the squad.

This is obviously a big lift for Tim Sherwood, whose extremely open style of play relies on the presence of at least one player in midfield providing cover to the back four- and obviously, no-one on Spurs' books is quite cut out to play this role on their day like the Brazilian battler. Can you imagine how things might have gone down if we'd had a fully-fit Sandro starting in last Saturday's FA Cup NLD? Actually don't, it'll just make you sad.
Welcome back Sandro! Please be as good as you were before you got hurt again.
