Kyle Walker out indefinitely

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Ian Walton

Tottenham Hotspur are not putting a time table on Kyle Walker's recovery, according to Mauricio Pochettino.

"At the moment it is impossible to give you the date. It is a good recovery at the moment.

"We are happy, but it's impossible to predict the time, when he is maybe ready to train with the team and to start to play."

Walker has been out with a what was first characterized as groin injury, and now as an abdominal injury, for several months now. What started as an injury he was nursing so he could make the World Cup, eventually caused Kyle to miss the World Cup entirely. Although he got some game time during pre-season, he was clearly still struggling with the injury. In Seattle, at least, he was still training away from the main squad.

Spurs were trying to address this injury with rest and rehab until it finally became clear that wasn't working and opted for surgery. As frustrating as this all is, hopefully resorting to surgery has addressed the problem definitively and when Kyle's back, he's entirely back.
