Tottenham need to be scoring more goals, but fortunately our youngest striker has been running rampant lately. Harry Kane has scored 8 goals in his 12 appearances for Spurs this season. So will he start this Sunday in the league against Aston Villa and fire Spurs' offense to glory? Let's ask Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino.
"Yes, maybe"
FFS MoPo. When a reporter asks you if you're going to start a scoring God, you say YES.
"We are very happy with him. Everyone is very important. But it's not difficult. It's a good thing he is scoring goals.
"Always we manage, share the minutes (between the strikers). We are happy with all our strikers. Adebayor scored against Newcastle, Soldado was very, very good the last game. Harry the same.
"We need to score more, it's true. But we are improving and I hope our strikers score more goals."
So what can we glean from this? Not a whole lot. MoPo likes Kane, but he also like Adebayor and Soldado. And they all need minutes. And he's not going to share his plans for the match with you. So what he's trying to say to these reporters is go away and think of the the most harmless thing, something that could never, ever possibly destroy us. And, I would presume, hope that there are no ancient malignant entities first worshiped by both the Hittites and Mesopotamians around to turn those thoughts into reality. Because that could destroy us. Or ensure Adebayor starts.
Or both.
Happy Halloween.
