Merry Christmas, one and all! It's Boxing Day, and that means a glorious extra dose of football all day! A two game winning streak has Spurs in 7th place, only four points away from fourth and even on points with Arsenal. The team has been boosted by its young attackers, as Harry Kane, Christian Eriksen, and Erik Lamela have all risen their game to boost Spurs. Spurs have a tough stretch of fixtures coming up though, with Manchester United and Chelsea following within the week. Can Spurs get a key win and keep their momentum going today?
In the way today is a trip to the East Midlands to face Leicester City, currently sitting last in the table. The Foxes have been primarily let down by their defense so far, which ranks second worst in the league. The absence of goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel due to injury won't help those matters, as Ben Hamer deputizes again. Spurs will have to watch out for striker Leonard Ulloa though, as the Argentine has already tallied six league goals this season.
As for the Prediction League, Ben's perfect prediction put him tied for the league lead with Caley. The rules remain the same in the Prediction League -- one point for a correct prediction and a bonus point for getting the score correct. Here are the current standings:
